Planned Giving: Leave a Legacy That Transforms Lives
For over a quarter of a century, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has been the cultural heart of the East End. You know us as more than just a venue; we are a vibrant, year-round community resource dedicated to providing a greater understanding and appreciation of the arts.
You have seen firsthand the magic created on our stage—the world-class music, the stunning dance, the engaging comedy, and the breakthrough cinema. You have also witnessed the profound impact of our premier arts education programs, reaching the widest and most diverse audiences, regardless of socio-economic status.
Now, we invite you to take the next, profound step: to create a lasting legacy that ensures the curtains never close on the WHBPAC experience.
A planned gift is a visionary act that secures the cultural future of Westhampton Beach and the entire East End. It's a way to support the WHBPAC without impacting your current finances, guaranteeing that future generations can enjoy world-class performing arts, inspiring educational opportunities, and the enrichment of our community’s quality of life.
What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving involves making a commitment—whether through your will, trust, or other financial arrangements—that will benefit the WHBPAC at a later date. These gifts often offer significant tax benefits while allowing you to maintain control of your assets throughout your lifetime.
The most common form of planned giving is a simple bequest in your will.
Ways to Incorporate WHBPAC In Your Legacy
There are many ways to make a planned gift. We encourage you to discuss these options with your attorney or financial advisor to find the best fit for your financial and philanthropic goals.
- Bequests in a Will or Trust: A specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate designated to WHBPAC. This is the easiest gift to arrange.
- Beneficiary Designations: Naming WHBPAC as a beneficiary of a Retirement Plan (IRA, 401k) or a Life Insurance Policy. These assets often pass to us tax-free.
- Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA): Transferring cash or assets to us in exchange for fixed, guaranteed payments for life.
- Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT): Placing assets in a trust that pays income to you (or other beneficiaries) for a set period, with the remaining principal going to WHBPAC.
- Gifts of Stock or Property: Assets that have appreciated in value may offer a greater tax benefit than an equivalent cash gift.

Sponsorship Opportunities
At the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, we rely on visionary partners to help us fulfill our mission. Your commitment goes beyond the stage—it's an investment in the cultural heart of the East End.
Sponsorship is the critical fuel that empowers WHBPAC to stretch its reach, enabling us to bring the very best world-class performing arts and arts education to our Westhampton and Eastern Long Island audience. Opportunities range from sponsoring a spectacular Mainstage performance or underwriting a vital program of our Arts Academy, to exclusive promotional sponsorships of key organizational assets like bar cups or ticket stock.
Your support ensures:
- Artistic Excellence: Funding the cost of bringing top-tier, global talent to our stage.
- Community Access: Sustaining our premier Arts Education programs, ensuring access for all, regardless of socio-economic status.
- Economic Enrichment: Contributing positively to the local economy and enhancing the cultural vibrancy of our community.
Sponsoring WHBPAC is not just a generous, tax-deductible gift; it’s an opportunity to join an exclusive circle of supporters who receive unparalleled access and visibility. Our curated suite of benefits is designed to deepen your connection to the arts and honor your commitment:
You will receive elite visibility with prominent recognition in your sponsored program’s promotional materials, including playbills, venue signage, our website, and pre-show acknowledgments from the stage. Our partners also enjoy exclusive access through invitations to special pre- and post-show meet-and-greet receptions with your sponsored artist or artists (when available), and receive the VIP experience with complimentary invitations to other select donor events throughout the season. Ultimately, your partnership secures powerful bragging rights or brand alignment with the quality, excellence, and cultural leadership that defines the WHBPAC.

Walk of Fame
Every stone tells a story. Your stone will be engraved with your name or personal message – you can dedicate a stone to remembering a loved one, celebrating a new baby, or even a beloved pet. You even have two Walk of Fame choices – our theatre walk under the marquee, and our Arts Academy walk on Sunset Avenue. Either one is a wonderful way to support the arts in Westhampton Beach, and this tax-deductible gift will last for generations. Etch your love of WHBPAC in stone!
Please be aware that the Walk of Fame stones are part of a busy sidewalk; they will naturally experience wear from pedestrian use, weather conditions, and other factors. We are committed to maintaining the sidewalks in a condition that ensures safe passage at all times. However, WHBPAC cannot be held accountable for any wear and tear to your donated Walk of Fame stone beyond three years from the date of your donation. After this time, any requests for repairs to address the natural weathering of your stone will be considered based on the practicality and cost of the necessary work, and a further donation may be needed for restoration.

Your targeted ad placement offers premium visibility, placing your business directly in the hands of more than 27,000 highly engaged patrons each year. Crucially, your advertising appears 52 weeks out of the year—in every single performance playbill, May to May, weighted seasonally as dictated by the nature of the East End.
The WHBPAC attracts a uniquely affluent, desirable, and motivated audience. Your advertising reaches patrons who consistently demonstrate high discretionary spending and cultural engagement.
Our Audience Profile is Defined by:
- Affluence: They are well-educated professionals, owners, and management with high disposable income.
- Location & Residency: They include year-round residents and seasonal visitors (second homeowners) who primarily reside on the East End.
- Spending Habits: Our patrons spend significantly more on items consistent with their interest in the Performing Arts, including: homes, luxury automobiles, fine dining, financial services, travel, and entertainment.
- Geographic Reach: Patrons drive year-round to the WHBPAC from a wide area spanning Greenport, Syosset, Montauk, and all points in-between.
Let us put this powerful reach to work for you—and we'll both reap the rewards. Depending upon the size of your ad, benefits of listing your business with us can include being featured in our newsletter, having your business linked on our website, receiving signage acknowledging your support in our Lobby, and even VIP tickets to a show of your choice.
